Art class 30/11/11

In our last art class we were finishing our final designing piece and we started working on our final piece and I think all the people in my class have an amazing ideas and pieces of work. My final piece is a woman with highlighted eyes and feathers coming out of her forehead. I tried not to make it boring so I put many symbols coming out of the mouth because the girl is actually singing and those symbols represent the topics she sing about. I decided to do that because I feel related. I am a singer and I really feel what I sing and give to it a meaning. And for me this is to be in a way an artist. I chose to work with colour pencils and oil pastels because we have to do a mixed media.

Street ART

This year in art, I feel much more comfortable and I feel I understand much more the topic and im able to express myself more in class than last year. In our first lesson we have been learning about many famous street artists such as: Carlos Adao, Cobra etc.. which I really liked because now when I walk or go by car in the streets of Sao Paulo, I recognize the artists and how beautiful everything is. I feel like if I was blind before because I didnt notice all this art. so now were working on out final pieces and im really enjoying everything :)

HW - the 3 little pigs

The little pig began to pray,
But Wolfie blew his house away.
He shouted, "Bacon, pork and ham!
Oh, what a lucky Wolf I am!"
And though he ate the pig quite fast,
He carefully kept the tail till last.
Wolf wandered on, a trifle bloated.
Surprise, surprise, for soon he noted
Another little house for pigs,
And this one had been built of TWIGS!


I THINK THIS PART COULD HAVE A DRAMATIC POTENTIAL BECAUSE IT HAS WORDS IN IT THAT AFFECT AND WE COULD ACT THEM OUT SUCH AS "THE LITTLE PIG BEGAN TO PRAY" ITS DRAMATIC AND WE COULD ACT PRAYING. ALSO THE WOLF ATE THE PIG, THIS IS REAL DRAMATIC AND WE SHOULD THINK ABOUT WAYS WE CAN DO IT EVEN MORE DRAMATIC. 

My first impression about the drama lesson

My first impression was that this year Drama is going to be something different than last year.. something much more serious and professional. I felt that last year we didn't express ourselves as much as we do with Ms Hurst. we didn't do real DRAMA.

I'm happy that it changed because now I know I have the opportunity to learn how to use my body language and my acting skills better. And who knows, maybe it will develop to an amazing experience I never had before. "BE WHAT'S NEXT!!"

If you have the opportunity to listen then do it.. some people don't hear because they don't mind, & some people just hear what they want to hear. each person in the world has the right to speak and express his self and deserve people to listen. one sentence can change the world and change people in a minute.. 

I choose this video firstly, because Beyonce is my idol ! I love her music & the lyrics of her songs are outstanding.. 

My future is music..

In my opinion singing is a way  to express your self the most.
You can actually show your feelings in a unique & amazing way by making each word different and capture the audience with a smile!
so next time you see in TV your favorite singer.. look in his eyes & you will understand his mind and thoughts..
